| Enzymes for Pets and AnimalsFineHealth has selected specific enzymes to supplement the inherent digestive system of your pets and animals. These enzymes break down the major substrates present in the feeds that are being consumed which allows for more bioavailability of nutrients. This allows for more absorbtion of nutrients and less pased in the stool. Protease - Reduces the protein cleavage to smaller molecular weight components such as peptides and amino acids for increased nutrient absorption by active transport. Amylase - Increases the utilization of starches that are being consumed by reducing the starch molecule to smaller molecular weights which can be more readily absorbed into the blood system. This results in more usable energy supplied from the feeds your pet or animal consumes. Cellulase - Enhances the utilization of the cellulose fiber of the various feeds that are being consumed. Hemi-Cellulase - Readily digestible cellulose is held in bundles by Hemi-Cellulose fractions. Hemi-Cellulase specifically breaks down these Hemi-Cellulose fractions which opens up the cellulose for better digestibility. Lipase - Added to our supplements to help with the breakdown of fats and lipids. Lipase also increases the bioavailability of fat soluble vitamins . This is very beneficial because the majority of the Lipase is produced by the pancreas which is the first organ to decrease activity during stress conditions. Phytase - Hydrolyzes phytic acid, which is widespread in nature, and the principle form of phosphorus in many seeds. (phytic acid contents are about 60-80% of the total phosphorous in seeds) Phytic acid binds minerals such as iron, zinc, calcium and magnesium, therefore reducing their bioavailability. Pectinase - Reducing the structural size of the plant pectin into Galacturonic Acid to maintain water balance. This helps to avoid excess fluid passage which is essential for cell growth and development. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
